1. Products & Fit
- Are your sunglasses unisex?
Yes. Every frame is crafted without gender in mind — built for balance, proportion, and quiet confidence. We design forms, not labels. What matters is how you wear them, not who you are.
- What materials are your frames made from?
It depends on the collection:
The Thresholds Collection is handcrafted from Mazzucchelli acetate, a premium Italian material known for its strength, depth, and character. Lenses are TAC polarized with full UV400 protection, and the hinge systems use lead-free copper alloy for durability and environmental responsibility.
The Essence Collection uses lightweight materials like TR90 + acetate or PC + CP. Each product page includes full material details.
- Do your lenses offer full UV protection?
Yes. All lenses provide complete UV400 protection, shielding your eyes from 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. Polarization reduces glare and enhances clarity in bright environments.
- Will your frames fit me?
All of our designs are chosen to suit a wide variety of face shapes — that's part of our design philosophy. You'll find detailed measurements (lens width, bridge, temple length) on every product page. If you're unsure, reach out — we’ll help you find the right fit.
- Can I add prescription lenses?
Yes. All acetate frames are optician-ready. You can easily have your lenses replaced with your prescription by any qualified optical specialist.
Soon, select models will be available with transparent demo lenses, made specifically for easy prescription conversion.
2. Shipping & Delivery
- Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide using DHL, FedEx, or trusted regional couriers — selected based on reliability and speed.
- How long does delivery take?
- Romania: 1–2 business days
- Europe: 1–5 business days
- Worldwide: 3–8 business days
A tracking link will be sent as soon as your order is on its way.
- How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders over €150. For smaller orders, the exact shipping cost will be shown at checkout based on your destination.
- I don’t see my country listed at checkout — what should I do?
If your country isn't available at checkout, please contact us at office@nocturnaframes.com or through the Contact form. We'll check shipping options and add your country if possible.
3. Returns & Exchanges
- What if the sunglasses don’t suit me? Can I return them?
Yes. You have 14 days from the delivery date to return or exchange your order, provided the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging.
- Can I return items bought on sale?
Sale items are eligible for exchange only, not refund.
- How do I start a return?
Simply email us at office@nocturnaframes.com or complete our Contact form with your order number. A reason for return is optional — we’ll guide you from there.
- Who covers return shipping?
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, unless the product is incorrect or damaged.
- How much will return shipping cost?
The return cost may differ from your original shipping fee. Once we receive your request, we’ll provide the best available return options for your location.
4. Orders & Payment
- Do I need to create an account to order?
No. You may check out as a guest. Creating an account simply gives you access to your order history and saves your preferences for next time.
- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely through Stripe and Netopia.
- Is my payment secure?
Yes. Every transaction is encrypted and protected through our trusted payment providers. Your card details are never stored or accessible to us.
- Can I add a gift message to my order?
Yes. During checkout, you’ll find a comments section where you can leave a message. If it’s a gift, we’ll omit the invoice and include your note in the package.
5. Packaging & Care
- What’s included with my order?
Each pair of sunglasses arrives in layered, minimal packaging that protects without excess. Inside, you’ll find:
- A sturdy shipping carton
- A paper insert box to secure the case
- A PU leather case for daily use
- A microfiber cloth for care
Every detail is intentional. Nothing wasted. Nothing excessive.
- Do you offer gift wrapping?
Our standard packaging is clean, elevated, and ready to be gifted. If you add a message at checkout, we’ll include it with care. Be sure to mention your gift requirements at checkout.
- How do I take care of my sunglasses?
- Keep them in the PU leather case when not in use.
- Use the microfiber cloth to gently clean the lenses.
- Avoid direct heat, pressure, or laying the lenses face-down on hard surfaces.
